More Members in Congress?

The Washington Post is discussing if the Congress should have more members. The Last time the membership number of the House changed was 1911. Since we have obviously grown a lot since then should the membership increase? If it does keep increasing when would it become unmanageable?

I don't know, What does the Constitution say?

IMO we have enough career politicians to mess up our nation already.

It allows the House membership to be changed. It is really up to Congress.

The Constitution is quite direct on this, Article one, Section 3 "...number of representatives should not exceed one per 30,000..." Needless to say (SURPRISE!!!!) we've been ignoring that since 1911. If we had even 1 per 50,000, we'd have more of a representative government where earmarks/waste would wither because they couldn't bribe enough congressmen. But then thats what the big government progs/conservatives want, after all lobbyists need to have reachable bribing goals!
