I have heard over and over again Democrats attack republicans and President Bush over having personal feelings about Religion. They have said they should keep religious feelings to themselves and there should be a total and complete seperation of State. If thats true why is Barack Obama sending this ad out in Kentucky? But, wait didnt Michelle Obama and Barack Obama not like those who clung to their religion and guns? I guess double talk never gets old.

That said, Obama is no better in his political pandering with this sleazy ad, and he should be ashamed of himself.
Then again, the "right" has made his religion an issue in this campaign, and he is aiming at a largely conservative voting block, so I certainly can understand his decision to launch this ad.
This is something that the GOP has never learned, it would appear. They've staked one election after another on viciously attacking opponents with fearmongering, warmongering, smearing, and racism, in a frantic appeal to their most gutteral and revolting base.
GOP AND DEMOCRATS BOTH Clark.
"I thought that Democrats were for a total and complete seperation of Church and State"
That's what you get for thinking Modern. You are a American you are not supposed to think. Our political parties and the media do that for us.
Obama, to some degree I understand. We have labeled him as muslim for a year now. He is fighting back.
As you know there should be no religious test. But, why is it wrong for Republicans to mention religion and ok for democrats. That was my basic point
Funny, but democrats seem to be crossing the aisle rather effectively lately.
"His religion is Christian and he has been a believer"
Wait a minute...I thought he was a viciously anti-American muslim terrorist?
As for this conversation - Reoublicans are not saints!!! You like to flaunt your religion, but then you have people like Ann Colter and Rush Limbaugh calling for cheating on the election, which should be almost sacred to a Democracy. Obama at least acts dignified in public, which is more than I can say for most Republicans.
The day after this was said I go to work where my boss is complaining about what Obama had the nerve to say and how somebody needs to shoot him. And my assistant who is also having an affair with my boss agreed saying that was all the rage at her church group.
Enuf said.
This is a cowardly and despicable lie, Mush-Diet Pablum.
Name one instance in which Bush or the Republicans were assailed for having personal religious beliefs.
The AWOL in Chief and his cabal of ineffective hacks are rightly attacked for enacting their personal beliefs into public law.
MD, you know its ok for the Dems and Libs to do whatever they want, its not alright for anyone else who doesnt think like a robot to do this though.
More tortured reasoning from the master of illogic.
News Flash, Christopher - laws against murder are ubiquitous and more ancient than the Bible.
The Babylonians, the Chinese, the Greeks, the Incas, the Mongols, the the Zulus had proscriptions against murder long before they encountered the Judeo-Christian tradition.
They haven't done so.
This pseudo-argument is another sham issue by the fading Republixcan Party.
Shocker.
