Thanks to Gather & Barilla!

I wanted to take a minute to thank Gather and Barilla for selecting me as the week 4 winner of the Barilla contest.  When I was on the Barilla site downloading the cookbook and found out about the contest, I had no idea what Gather was.  I came here specifically to enter the contest, as dishes and tableware are a passion of mine.  I do a lot of party planning for my friends and family and this was just a contests that I was excited about and it was a chance to show off some of my many dishware sets.

Unfortunately, my time has been very limited this month and I only had a few hours on a single day to put some pictures together.  I was really disappointed that I didn't have the time to put together some of the tables that i was constantly visualizing. 

I was so busy I never even had the chance until today to check who won this week and at first I was in a panic when I saw the news that tonight was the deadline for submission as I had planned to take more photos tomorrow, my first real full day at home in a month!  I was so upset by that, it took me a few minutes to realize that *I* had been selected for week four!!!  Then I was so excited that I yelled out loud and my husband was congratulating me.  I'm sure he will be glad to stop hearing me talk about all of my ideas!

Whether or not I win the grand prize (and the competition is REALLY stiff!), I'm so excited to have won a weekly prize and more than that, I'm really excited to have found Gather.  I don't have a lot of online time, but it's been a really nice experience coming here and connecting to some people, rading articles and looking at people's photos, etc.  What a fun place.  So, thanks Gather, Barilla, and also thanks to all of the nice people I have now met through this experience... I hope we have lots more fun!
