How to Enter
Participating in the Barilla "Celebrity Italian Table" Contest is easy! First, join the "Barilla" group at italiantable.gather.com. Join now!
Upload a photo of your unique and beautiful table setting, as inspired by the Celebrity Italian Table Cookbook. You can enter as many different table-setting photos as you want, so you're encouraged to experiment. Follow these quick steps to ensure your entry is received:
- Sign in to your Gather.com account
- Click on "Publish" at the top of any Gather page
- Select "Publish an Image"
- In the "Tags" field, you must insert the tag "barilla" separated from any other tags by a comma
- Under "Who can view my article," you must select "Everyone" and the "The Italian Table" group
- Click "Publish"
Each week for five weeks, a winner will be selected by the Gather Editorial Team, and a finalist will receive a Barilla gift basket. The five finalists' table setting photos will be sent to Lifestyle Guru Bruce Littlefield. Bruce will select the Grand Prize Winner, who'll receive a $500 William Sonoma gift card.
Entries are accepted from January 25 through March 1, 2008 (11:59 p.m. ET). Weekly winners will be announced on February 6, 13, 20, 27, and March 5. The Grand Prize Winner will be revealed on March 12, 2008.

Several members who are Correspondents, Member Editors and Guides have asked whether they are eligible to participate and win prizes in the Barilla contest.
Member Editors and Standard Guides ARE able to participate because they do not receive a paid stipend from Gather. Correspondents and Guide Team Leaders are NOT able to participate because they DO receive a paid stipend from Gather and therefore they are viewed as representatives of Gather Inc. Everyone can download the free cookbook and try some great recipes. I'm looking forward to that!
