it doesn't sound bad, not that they'd eat it here anyway, but I think it's a little cheap on the tuna. I'd add at least two cans, not one.

This recipe sounds kind of blah but I would probably like it because there's pasta in it ... and cheese and it's not exactly low cal ...

Not bad... but I'm with you on the French Fried Onions, Shannon. I have never liked them. I always used cream of chicken soup instead of cream of mushroom when I made tuna casseroles, which I don't any more because my husband thinks it's gross. (He would probably like it if I made it but there are too many other things to choose from.)

I can take or leave tuna casserole, but the cream of chicken soup idea suits my particular taste. When I do not have pan drippings I use cream of chicken as a base for gravy. I delute it to my liking with chicken broth, season to taste and color it with Kitchen Bouquet.
It comes out so well that most folk don't know they are having soup on their mashed potatoes.

YAY!!! Mama's notification are back! I say cream of mushroom instead of cream of chicken. I'm not sure if I'd care for the taste of the two 'meats' together. I'd also cut back on the amount of onions and would add a second can of tuna. I like the cheese added to it, too.

replace the tuna with the canned chicken, could even use ham. I use the chicken when I don't have tuna, no one knows the difference...thanks or sharing..
