My changes were as follows:
I used half whole wheat flour and half regular.
I reduced the amount of white sugar a bit and used 1/2 cup brown sugar in place of a 1/2 cup of the regular.
The mixture seemed dry so I added 1/2 cup buttermilk.
I cut the amount of frosting called for in half and it was plenty to frost the whole batch.
Very moist and cake-like brownies!
