What I made last night

My mom gave me a ton of squash from her garden, so I was looking for something different to do with it.  Here is what I came up with:

 It turned out good, but not as good as I thought it would be from the ratings.  It seemed like it was missing something.  Maybe I should have used more cocoa?   Using miniature chocolate chips may have helped as well, since they all sunk to the bottom. 

It is moist and delicious and not too sweet!  I like it, but I'm not sure if my husband will!  If you're looking for something different to do with your zucchini, you might like this.

I've heard zuccini bread is very good, but I've never baked it myself.

I just had another piece and it is definitely growing on me! The chips that sank give the bottom a fudgy consistancy, while the top part is light, fluffy, and moist.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to make the icecream social (seems like it's the one potluck I miss every year!) We have friends who are moving soon and having a party that night, so we'll be there. If we get back home in time I am going to try to get there for dessert!
