This sounds like a decent idea (I mean, beer and cheese? Yes!), but needs a little more. I have a recipe for a Habanero Ale dip that rocks, I bet this one would be good with some chiles or peppers.
Or how about baking it and topping it with shredded sharp cheddar or another tangy cheese? Or stir in some crab or artichoke? Yum yum!

not a fan of beer at all.
Just sayin.
I'd be willing to bet that a few habaneros tossed into the mix would not go awry.
