While I was out of town in March, hubby bought some pinto beans to cook. He used to be a professional cook, way back when. However, he never quite got around to doing anything with them other than pouring them into a bowl (lol!), so when I got home, I took it upon myself to see what I could come up with. I looked on the internet for ideas, and found a delicious pinto bean chili that my teen boys and hubby absolutely LOVE! And it's GLUTEN-FREE! We found that a pound of ground beef was plenty of meat for this chili, but you can add or subtract and it will still be good. Put the beans in the refrigerator to soak the night before you use them to make your life simpler.
