Ever had one of those?  Do you know what it is?  'Bologna'
That's right! 
Mike and Anna love it.  They like it between 2 slices of bread with mayonnaise. 
Not me!  If I eat bologna, it has to have mustard. 
Bologna is an economical product.  We sometimes find it 2 for one.  Walmart sells it $2 per pound.  You can find less expensive or more expensive.  We always go for Oscar Mayer, the taste is good, quality (well for bologna) is good, and the price is middle of the road. 
Bologna is versital, as it can be used in some recipes which call for diced ham.  Add it to an omelet, but go easy on the salt.  It can also be fried to give it a totally different taste.  Some restaurants add it to their cold cut or Italian subs, we did that too.
I have eaten bologna since I was a child.  I still like it from time to time, but not on a regular basis.
Bologna is a stuffed cooked sausage, originating in other cuisines such as German, Italian, and Newfoundland.  It is made from the scraps or leftover meats in the processing plant.  The US government determines what can go into the bologna of today. 
Remember the Oscar Mayer campaign in the early 1970's?  The song was and still is 'My bologna has a first name it's O-S-C-A-R',  originally sang in 1973 by 4 year old Andy Lambros.
