Okay! So you didn't want to turn those hot dogs into penny gravy. There are other options. Got a can of pork & beans or baked beans? It really doesn't matter about the brand. Here's what I would do, but you make it your way:
Chop some onion, probably 1/4 cup or less. Saute in a little butter or olive oil (olive oil is my preference), slice two hot dogs into into bite size pieces and saute with onion. Add can of beans, maybe a tablespoon of mustard and heat through. A salad or coleslaw goes well, and is all that is really needed for a good nutritious meal. All of this takes a good 15 minutes and you are good to go.
Oh, and by the way, it's a low priced meal that is good for 3-4 people.
