A rain soaked house
A splash of rain takes him by surprise.
It pries open memory’s trick box.
A simple run through homely corridor
to the backyard maze of drying cloths.
We are doing just fine, memory!
The old hound with musty gray smell
sharpens ears; harks what may be foot-steps
steps of a girl, prodigal, careless.
The hound knows; soon it is to be
put to deep sleep. It waits anxiously.
A splash of rain. Eyes. Eyes. Oh, my eyes.

I keep the telephone of my mind open to peace, harmony, health, love and abundance. Then, whenever doubt, anxiety or fear try to call me, they keep getting a busy signal - and soon they'll forget my number.
Blessings and best wishes - S.

I was chuckling.
Because it just sounds as if the person wishes they no longer had to see.

I would give a more inciteful comment here, but I'm catching up on 300-somewhat-odd e-mails so please excuse me for the short comment.
Well done!
