The storm on the northern sky

He eyes the yellow painted door,

Fingers quivered on touch of

The ancient woods and red bricks.

The crisscross of the net flap

And, the checkered face behind it....

Waiting path on the rolling

Infinity is waiting to

Take him away to the world

That will be his for one year

This is a haunting poem whose omitted details heightens the reader's anxiety. There is a sense of emptiness and loss befitting the first line. Thank you!
