Of All the Fish in the Sea...
Set out in the world with you new wife
I know this is what you think you wanted
Be careful to not forfeit your life
Her own selfish motives are teasingly flaunted
Be sure your back does not feel her knife
To see her true colors leaves my foresight haunted
For your sake alone; I pray I am wrong
With your family and friends is where you belong

Again, I like the poem very much. And again, I wonder if you shouldn't answer the questions the poem leaves.
Kudos,

thing that comes to mind, is that no matter how you feel, it is the person alone that is in love to know what they have gotten into...it is their life, their love
then again is this person you are talking about you? how you are feeling about your own doubts?
interesting
I like your style
That's a pretty good summary of women in general. You sound scared of us!
Being a woman, I have to admit that most of us are somewhat innately manipulative (i.e. back-stabbing).
But some of us have worked hard on this problem, and tried to free ourselves from it. In my case, I hope I have had some success.
