(I'm republishing some of my old poems)
I float, weightless
bouyant
carried inward
on saline waves.
Peacefully my subconcious
observes every muscle
miles of nerves
tissue and bone.
Oceans of blood to be
cleansed and renewed,
my cells replaced.
The surf washes over
my rejuvenated body
and pushes ashore
my ancient mind.
