Sky Gazing

I love to gaze into the skies
Backdrop blue; here and there a cloud
At night stars shine like fireflies

Watching how a condor flies
Rare glimpse of a bald eagle, proud
I love to gaze into the skies

Evening breeze like so many sighs
Dark and calm under twilight's shroud
At night stars shine like fireflies

Small or large; no matter their size
From silent insects to jet engines loud
I love to gaze into the skies

To witness the sun or moon arise
Enjoy airy space, long ago I vowed
At night stars shine like fireflies

Our sun and moon tell us no lies
We should all sky gaze; they don't mind a crowd
I love to gaze into the skies
At night stars shine like fireflies

You did a great job with this poetic form, DragonSoul!. It turned out really well. Villanelle sounds too complicated for me ... I think I'll stick to Lunes!
