Murder...Would you?

If someone kidnapped your child and told you that the only way to get him back was to murder an innocent person, would you do it.

I really can't say. I would have to think that murdering that person instead would get me my child back.

Fran, made the most sense in saying that it is a situation that we do not know what we would do until we were faced with it and hopefully none of us ever will be. I also like Randee's answer and I think my thoughts would head that way if needed. You would have to think that someone that would want you to murder someone else would also probably not honor what they say and may kill your child either way!
That was what I was thinking Bob, so why kill an innocent?
Get the kidnapper, and get my kid!!!!

I'm not sure if I could bear the pain of raising a child that has been saved through the blood of another. I suppose I'd have to be faced with the situation to really know what I'd do.

well I have 4 kids that I love so much and if one was to be in that situation I would have to say yes i would and I would make it my lifes job to find this person that try to hurt one of my kids
