I'm just curious, there are a lot of great photographers on gather, do any of you sell your photos somewhere, or are you a real professional photographer? I have recently been wondering what it takes to be a professional/freelance photographer.

If you have any tips or info to share with me, I would love to hear it.

Justin, I purchased some photos from a gather nember a couple of years ago, he's an amateur and I e-mailed him directly.
My suggestion for collecting knowledgable infrmation is to look into the courses offered at your local college or adult education center.

I've never tried to sell my photographs, though I've been told I could. I don't know anything about it... I should probably find out.

Justin, I only really take pictures of my family or my animals, but I'm sure their are a lot of people on Gather that can give you some information on photography.

Go to WWW.MODELMAYHEM.COM Great networking site for photographers models designers makeupartists stylists. They have great groups and forums to check out with tons of info!

i did a couple of those online ones, never made crap...i think if i had a higher res camera i could though...so maybe you have a shot i think it was bigstockphoto.com
