Ran Into Something Odd On Gather This Morning

It happens to me all the time. After I comment, if I do not see it show up, I refresh the page and it is always there. Keeps me from having to write it 2 times.

Next time you comment and it disappears, refresh the page before you try leaving the second comment..........

Gremlins are at work this morning. I posted pictures and the system would not allow me to select any groups. So I went ahead and posted them to no groups. Then I discovered that they had all been posted to a bunch of groups where they didn't belong. Weird.

this has happened to me also...i thought it was my new computer!?!?...but the past few days, i have been hearing about a lot of problems here on gather, so i am now not so sure it is my computer...

I have had comments disappear after I put them up, but usually if I reload the page, they show up again. Once, though, earlier this week, one did disappear and I had to re-comment. I thought maybe I just hadn't clicked the submit button and was remembering it wrong, but now I wonder if it's the same thing that you are describing.

It's probably an update glitch.

If we all got together and sure, this and many other strange things have happened on here (thanks for the upgrades!) we'd have one heck of a group article!

Refreshing works - sometimes. Other times? Nope.

Marilyn - (How weird to just type my own name to another Marilyn, lol) that's happened to me too, NO idea why or how. And that one doesn't fix itself.

Another one - hit reply to answer and email and all of a sudden it won't send because somehow, Gather thinks you're replying to nobody and also cannot find the friend on your list to send to! AHHHHH :)

it sounds like the data is intered so fast and heavy that the server is having trouble processing it! its time for a server upgrade!!!!

like someone said above just give it a minute and hit refresh!

Happens to me, First time I closed the article and opened it again and my comment was there. sometime I vanishes, I make another one and when I submit it I have 2 comments then other one appears with the second one.
