Weather and climate are not the same.
Weather is the state of the atmosphere that is temperature, precipitation and wind for a particular time and place. Climate is the average weather conditions for a place over a longer period of time.
The Earth's climate patterns are constantly changing. Anyone who has heard of "The Great Ice Age" knows that.

It has been a very spring-like summer here in the BIG O!
(Omaha, NE).
Almost like the summer of '84...
Only 4 days over 90º
At least 10 days where the overnight temperatures that either broke or almost broke records from 70 years ago...
and it has rained so much that people around here have had to mow their lawns every 7 days instead of the normal 10-14 days...
Since, I did 'almost' minor in meteorological studies, to help cover up the weathermen talk from my roommates and housebuddies...
I'd like to know how your summer-time weather was this year, especially in comparison to the past few, and maybe a general location so I can add more data to my constant findings...

thanks bunches,
if you help me out here.........

next I'm going to be hearing that darn song...
let it snow let it snow let it snow...
there's a little penguin around here that feels the same......
i remember in '86 when i was pregnant & having 80-90 degree temps through september.
this past winter was dry; this summer has been dry in comparison to previous years, less humidity also.
our nights have been in the low to mid 50's all through august. we used to sleep in "an oven" in michigan during the summer months. the leaves are changing way too soon.
things have sure changed.
well with the exeption of a wayward hurricane or something like that ? ? ?
Also the ice age, which covered the Ozark mountains with hundreds of feet of ice. Which is where I live and I don't want that either.
The basic point is, we do not want either consequences, but can the scientists show me one inch of oceans going higher?? No.
