The danger begins.
Today when I was preparing Kyleigh's bath water, she came behind me and locked the bathroom door from inside. It was the kind of door lock that you can't unlock from the outside.
It's actually not the first time she locked a door. Last time (the first time) was about 2 months ago. She woke up one morning and both my husband and I were still in bed, so she got off the bed and played in the bedroom herself. When we got up, we found the bedroom door locked from the inside.
I wonder if there's some kind of child safety thing that can prevent the door lock from locking. I would hate to have her lock herself up. I am usually in the same room with Kyleigh, but never say never.

You can get round door knob covers which prevent young kids from opening doors, but they usually have a hole in the end, so I don't think they'd cover the locking mechanism.
My oldest son was bad about locks. He was smart as a wipe and figured them out pretty quick.
