I bought a new camera!

I'm so excited. I bought a new camera last night. I loved our Canon, which died, but I thought I'd see what my other options were.

We ended up buying the Fuji FinePix S1000fd: 10 megapixels, 12X optical zoom, big 2.7" screen, buttons on the back, not on the top. I liked that is has an internal memory, plus is also compatible with multiple memory devices (I've got an sd card from the Canon and a memory stick from the Sony Cybershot before that). It got high marks (4.7 out of 5, based on 23 ratings) and was on sale for $227.

I can't WAIT to get taking some pictures.

My parents are going to get us a camera for Christmas. We bought one years ago, but we can't find anyplace that sells the right memory card anymore because it's so old.
