This week, I had a unique problem. I couldn't find any tangerine anywhere. It's not a color I typically wear, have around my house, or plant in my garden. After using up all the tangerine photos I did have in last week's article announcing Rainbow Connection's new color of the week, I was fresh out of tangerine.
Judging by the number of posts this week (over 200 photos and a record number of articles, poems, and photo essays), I was the only one having this problem!
So I started searching for Tangerine.
I found a little dash on my nephew's shirt.

I found some in my sister-in-law's garden.

I found some rocks out by the fish pond that looked a little tangerine. (Hey, I was desperate...)

I searched though my old photos and found a picture of a tangerine from last year's crop - please disregard the dust... or, would you believe that we crop dust? (We have a tangerine tree growing in a sunny window at the parsonage.)

Then things started to look up! I found some tangerine in my kitchen at the Blue Belle Inn.

And, I found a few articles around the house that were tangerine...
Even some cheddar cheese!
I was so inspired that I bought some tangerine-colored peaches and made a fresh peach pie with strawberry glaze.

I found a book my mom gave me last Christmas that had a lot of tangerine in it.

I listened to an mp3 and saw some tangerine flash across my screen.

I opened a new box of beads that I had purchased to make things with my nieces next time they stay overnight.

And I found one flower in my garden that had some tangerine on it.

All in all, there was a lot more tangerine to be found that I had imagined. And I "saw" a lot of things I never would have noticed if I hadn't gone looking!
I hope you had fun dreaming about tangerine this week, too! My sincere thanks to each and every one of you who entered, commented and encouraged! There were so many outstanding entries this week that it was almost impossible to choose!
I know you'll enjoy the tangerine treasures this week's winners came up with!
