How do you see it?

Do you see the glass as half full or half empty? and does this really effect the outcome in your life?

Definatley 1/2 full. And yes, I believe that it has a huge effect on your life.

I don't know. I know it changes at different times. Today its Half FULL.

decided long ago that when given a choice of perception, I would go with the most positive option - always choosing the negative wasn't working for me :)

So - it would depend on the situation ... if it were some yucky stuff I had to drink for a test or something, it would be half empty ... otherwise, probably half full

I try very hard to alter my perspective and see it as 1/2 full because it makes a huge difference in your life, more than you think!

I am more likely to think of things in a continuum, something like: things to get through, things to experience, things to enjoy. Usually "experience" is paired with "get through" or with "enjoy".

I see it as full! Doesn't matter if it were half empty, or half full, cause I don't want half of anything, so I'm going to fill it up :)

It depends on if it was all the way full to start and I lost some then it would be half empty but if it was empty to start and then I got half a glass then it would be half full.

I too, know that the answer "should be" half full but times have been tough for a long time and after so long it's really hard to see it as half full. I'm trying for my kids sake to make lemons into lemonade but we are all tiring of lemonade too.

I actually see it both ways, which I feel gives me a broader perspective on things. Part of me see the glass 1/2 full while the other part sees it as 1/2 empty, so I don't know what else to say.

In my mind it is half full. I have so much good in my life. Me emotions say 3fourths empty. It is not enough to know my emotions are not realistic but changing is hard!

My son recently went on a college visit and attended a "new student-getting to know you" seminar where they filled out cards that included this question. The professor conducting the discussion read his (anonymous) response to the group, commenting that it was his favorite:

"What the hell happened to my glass? It was just here a minute ago!"
