I know it's 4 months away, but it is giving me something to look forward to. We just booked an oceanfront vacation house on the beach in North Carolina with friends of ours. I haven't been on vacation since 1999!!! Yes that was 9 years ago!! I've taken long weekends away, but not for a whole 7 days. Looking online at the beach was so refreshing!!
These homes that you rent for a week are nice with all the amnemities. They have free wireless internet, Cable TV, pool table, ping pong table and much much more. I hope it is worth it!!! I can't wait.
Ive got to lose weight or someone might harpoon me!!

Here is our tentative itinerary:
Saturday, March 22 – 7:30pm Arrive at Raleigh, NC airport and drive to Sumter, SC
Sunday, March 23 – Spend time with my sister and visit Florence, SC
Monday, March 24 – Visit Charleston, SC
Tuesday, March 25 – In the morning, drive to Clarendon, NC to spend time with my best friend Pam and her family, Will also visit North Myrtle Beach, SC
Wednesday, March 26 – Visit Garland and Elizabethtown, NC areas
Thursday, March 27 – Leave Clarendon, NC and drive towards Fairfax, VA visiting little stops on the way to arrive around/after 9pm
Friday, March 28 – Take the metro and visit Washington, DC, Dinner with John's family (EITHER FRIDAY OR SATURDAY)
Saturday, March 29 – Three hour walking tour of main sights in Washington, DC with a tour guide, Dinner with John's family (EITHER FRIDAY OR SATURDAY)
Sunday, March 30 – 8:25am Depart from Baltimore, MD airport to arrive at LAX at 12:30pm
