So I went to the gym 6 days last week, and I was determined that I was going to lose something. I weigh myself on Sunday... and nothing. Not even a friggen pound... what am I doing wrong? I'm drinking lots of water, excersizing and eating healthy. What am I doing wrong?
I'm keeping a food journal...... haven't went over 2,000 calories a day. I'm not really frustrated, just trying to catch the problem before I become that way...
on another note... I did 30 minutes on the elipticals tonight... When we first started going to the gym, I couldn't even do 3 minutes. I'm sooooooooooo proud of myself.
I just wanted to share this, and see if there is something that anyone recommends for me to do????

First, since you worked out everyday, you probably turned fat to muscle, and since muscle weighs more than fat, although you'd have toned up, you'd still weigh the same. It may also be that 2,000 calories per day is still too much. Try cutting that by another 200 per day to see if it does the trick. Also, make sure you're eating five servings of fruits and vegetables per day (one serving = 1/2 cup), and drinking at least 8 eight ounce glasses of water. It sounds like a lot but, it's really only two one liter bottles. (I buy the naturally flavored ones so it's even easier to drink.) Aside from those things, it's all about portion control. Best of luck. Keep at it. You'll start losing soon.
