Friday Evening Dabble

I'm sitting at the computer waiting to bid on an ebay item my youngest daughter wants.  She keeps asking if we got it but the auction still has over an hour left.  I did bid the other night when she first asked me but someone has an automatic bid set up so I keep getting outbid.  My plan is to try to get the item in the last seconds so that I won't be outbid.  I don't know if it will work or not but it's worth a try.  Just in case it doesn't, I found another listing for the same item.  It's a Buy It Now so that's a sure thing but the price and shipping would be more than this first auction IF I manage to get my bid in at the last second.  We'll see.

A couple of weeks ago, I won a book in Austin Cushings BiblioPhoenix group.  It arrived today.  It's a Barbara Kingsolver novel called Pigs In Heaven.  I know it's an older title but I haven't read it yet so I am anxious to start reading it.  I'll start it tonight.

And I have a Netflix movie that just arrived today so I will put that in the player a little later, once I know what is happening with the ebay situation.

That's about all going on with me at the moment.  Oh, and it's fish for dinner again.  I don't eat meat but I do eat fish so it's fish for dinner a lot around here!  It's a good thing I like all sorts of fish and I like it fixed different ways, too.  Yum yum.   It'll be pan baked tonight.  Quick, easy, tasty.
