In March I had to spend some time in California for work. I stayed a couple of extra days to visit my cousin in Santa Rosa. I had the pleasure of driving through Napa and Sonoma. While driving through Sonoma I discovered Sonoma Traintown. Of course, I had to stop and see what it was all about. It's a fun park with a miniature railroad.

Since it was in the off season, the attractions were limited. The carousel, airplaine ride and the train were the only rides running. I bought my ticket for the train and waited about 10 minutes. Only one ride at a time was running.

The train ride ran through a miles of track passing miniature houses and buildings.

About halfway through the ride, the train stopped at a village where we were able to get out and walk around.

The village also has a petting zoo.
