I started thinking about a doctor likely when I was 1st a kid and facinated by other kids bodies. After that, I've fallen into it because I am intelligent and enjoy the change to be challenged on a regular basis.

Connie, being able to laugh at life is so important.
Georgiana, if the infection doesn't seem to be affected, you'll want to contact your doctor and try a different antibiotic and possibly get a urine culture to check for which pathogen is causing the UTI. Usually it's E coli.

Do you know anything about migranes? My daughter gets them bad. Nothing helps.
I read here on Gather about taking Vit B on a reg basis/200mg a day. But not sure which "B"

The 1st thing is to determine what type of headaches they are, their description, their triggers, etc. From there, treatments and therapies can be looked into.

What's important is to take it down to a very low level and understand what is causing the headaches. Often, we get headaches during times of vasodilation on our cerebral vasculature.

Netty, have you ever evaluated how you have feelings of dislike for this man she's with? Like it or not, she's with him. It can put a lot of stress on someone if they don't feel that the ones who should love them don't support them whether they agree or not.

Great question George, the odor of your flatulence depends on the chemical compounds in it. Most gas does not have much of a smell since most gas is simply swallowed air that was not burped back up. Well, it has to go somewhere. Certain foods (especially those rich in Sulfur) can make it smell.

Depends on the manner of death Kerrel. In fact, the same goes with babies/fetuses. Depending on the state, certain babies born with anencephaly (most of the brain is not developed) can no longer allow such babies who would only live for a day or two to be able to give organs. This is actually due to laws passed during George H.W. Bush.

Hey Dan wishing you well in your soon to be practice. I have read that because of the way medical practice has changed with govt and insurance rules, that a majority of GP's regret this carrear (SP?) choice. I wonder if you have ever read THE HOUSE OF GOD by Samuel Shem. Easily the funniest and most true book about the practice of medicine at your level. If not make sure you find this book or at least ask about it. If you don't crack up at the rules of the house of god I don;t know. Enjoy your day Roy
