The Castle Cake - Lemon Cake with Lemon Glaze

Well, here it is.  It's not perfect, but it tastes good.

 

 

 

 

 

My daughter put the glaze on it. 

I think the next time, I really need to find an actual pound cake recipe.  This cake is a little light and I think something more dense would work better. 

I also need to make sure to spray the pan a little better.  :)

Very cute. I like the tips! I have this pan as well & am about to use it for the 1st time for one of my daughters' bday cake. I need to practice as well. She want's me to decorate it as well... ugh! This could be ugly...

Thanks! I'm going to post the recipe. The cake is really good, but I think it would work better in a regular bundt pan.
