I got to my husband's office and had a quick dinner there. Kyleigh was drawing on the office white board and erased everything on it.
When it was time, we headed to the ship (DS-933 Berry).

Another shot of DS-933 Berry.

There was a short line at the boarding area, but the wait time was long.

Nothing was scary on the Weather Deck, but when we finally went below the deck, I realized it was not a trick-or-treat event. It was literally a Ghost Ship - the mass deck, the berthing... the entire ship was decorated with spider webs, spiders (including one giant spider the size of a tire), scary "bleeding" dolls, coffins, etc., with recorded ghost whispers and screams, and sailors dressed up like vampires, ghosts, and witches. We also heard some kids' crying and screaming (live, not recorded).
Kyleigh was scared and wanted to leave at the beginning, but we convinced her that we would protect her and it was fun. But we did take a shortcut so we didn't go through the entire ship. In the end, Kyleigh got some lollipops and said it was fun, although she also said she didn't want to go back again. If we had realized it was a Ghost ship event like this, we wouldn't have taken Kyleigh there. I am just glad she wasn't frightened.
After we left the ship, we walked around the gun park and Kyleigh had fun sitting on the big guns.

We told Kyleigh the ship didn't normally have ghosts on it; only during Halloween. Kyleigh pretended that she was a scary ghost and made a scary face.

We also told her there was more real trick-or-treating coming tomorrow.

At least she made it through and didn't scream the whole time though.
