The first Halloween activity was the Halloween Party on Friday at 3 PM at the day care. I left work early and met with her in the classroom. I put on the fairy hat and skirt for her, and she liked it.

Kyleigh wouldn't eat any of the snacks and said she wanted to go home, so I took her out. Just before we left the gate, I noticed the teacher was taking all her classmates trick-or-treating. So I asked Kyleigh if she wanted to join, and had her follow the teacher.

"Look, Mommy! See what I've got!" Kyleigh was quite amazed to get the candies, and ran back to me to show me.

I followed her for the rest of the Trick-or Treating. But I didn't go back to the car and get her pumpkin basket until the end.

"Bones! I love bones!"

"I'll put my candies in the pumpkin basket."

By the end of it, Kyleigh finally realized what trick-or-treat meant, I guess. She also wanted to take a picture with her classmate who dressed up as Snow White.

We left the day care and headed to my husband's base, because they had some kind of activity for Halloween as well. I told Kyleigh we were going to Daddy's office for more trick-or-treating.
