yesterday i posted about the 10 year old Pitbull that has bitten a 11month old baby, while the babys grandmother was aparently 9 feet away, the news that once the owners surrender the Pitbull to the City, the dog will be euthanized...
I do feel the parents/grandmother is responsible for what happened. they should have never left the dog and the baby unattentend in the first place, maybe the baby pulled the dog... or i dont know... they should have NEVER left them together on the floor. now the dog has to pay for this...
anyways i contacted a few websites i found, i have only gotten one response so far, from bestfriends.org
They emailed me their phonenumber to contact them about the dog, the problem is i do not have any info on the owner of the dog, the only name i have is the grandmothers name Pepper Boster, well there is no phone number listed for her...
so i emailed "bestfriends" again, with all the info i have and urged them to contact our shelter and our local news place....
i have little hope for the dog, but i really pray that the dog will be saved...., i also emailed our shelter the bestfriends phonenumber, hoping that they will contact them...
my little one smacked our dog on the butt, really hard, the dog turned around and tried to snap at her, thats how fast something can happen when you dont watch and supervise your dogs and kids...
here is the link to the newswebsite you can read the article and watch the video

They did say, once the owner surrenders the dog to the city the dog will be euthanized...
When we first had our daughter we would not leave her in one room alone with our dog/ neither was MILs dog allowed close to her... i agree there is always a risk, but this accident could have been prevented by not letting a dog and a 11month baby lay on the living room floor together...
pitt bull are more tempered then any other dogs,, alot of it is the owners yet I wuold neve have a pitt bull in my home,, our sates mandates one carrys 100,000 home owner insurance if you own one, plus notify authorities you have one so it is well aware of..
That being said try Any Who or US Search, you may be able to find them through those sources.
Intelius below is also a good source and pretty simple to use.

The dog that bit my son.. he has been around for as long as I can remember 6 years for sure.. Myson along with 6 other small children play with this dog all the time.. My son used to play outside and be eating a hotdog and the dog try to have a bite.. my son would slap him and tell him no and the dog would jump away scared.. Then out of nowhere.. this one special day.. dog we "trusted" bit my son. My son used to ride this dog like a horse.. it did not matter what he done this dog would do nothing. Maybe you should not "trust" your dog so much cause you never know really.
Sounds weird the dog and 11 month old was just laying on the floor. I dont know many 11 month old baies to just lay their. I would think more the baby was playing with the dog and maybe scared it or something so it snapped.. That poor dog and that family probably "trusted" it too after 10 years
It is sad that that child got bit but I feel that it was not the dogs fault, if they have had no problems in the past 10 years then something must have changed and my first feeling would be what did that child do to the dog to provoke it.
Pit bulls were only known as "Nanny Dogs" just for no reason. *sigh*
