Gobble Gobble Gobble! A FAMILY Turkey Event - Photo Essay

Last week Gideon came home with some homework to do - decorate a turkey with anything he wants - just no crayons. The idea was to get creative and use things you didn't think anyone else would choose to use.

So, last night out came the craft supplies and we got to work.

Clint used a variety of things on his including sequins, marshmallows, pom poms, feathers and more.

Gideon chose glitter glues, a pom pom, craft foam, foam beads and more.

I chose some google eyes and decided to do a shape turkey. The shapes are cut from craft foam and the star is a glow in the dark foam sticker.

Interesting. Very educational. Love it! I plan on being a homeschool mommy and I love things outside the box! Creativity is the best learning ever!

Very cute!! My granddaughter was sent home from kindergarten with a turkey to disguise. My daughter said she turned it into a unicorn (same thing she was for Halloween). I can't wait to see it!!

I send the same project home with my Kindergarten kids every year. Last year we had one come back with real working X-mas tree lights on it! Yours look great.
