Gideon's FIRST Jack O Lantern Carving Experience

This year Gideon started school, and one of his first field trips was to the Apple Orchard and the Pumpkin Patch. There each child chose one pumpkin that they would be taking home for Halloween.

This is Gideon's! He chose a perfectly round one, didn't he? The other day he decided he wanted to make it into a Jack O Lantern and drew on the face. He drew the face by himself without any help.

Here's the Jack O Lantern after he was carved and lit up. Happy fella, isn't he? Gideon carved the eyes and the nose by himself.
