Yes, now that the tree has been taken down I'm actually getting around to putting up pictures of it! What can I say, I'm always running late :-)
So here is our tree looking a bit worse for wear from two kids and four cats who all seem to think the tree is great fun to play with (or in the case of the cats on!).

We have several Cardinal ornaments in memory of my grandmother (who raised me) -- Cardinals were one of her favorite birds and everytime I see one I think of her :-)

Sorry, this one came out sideways for some reason (it's been one of those days). This is just some more of the ornaments on the tree. We add an ornament or two each year and the collection will eventually go to the kids (assuming they leave the ornaments alone long enough for any of the ornaments to survive their childhood!).

Well, at least this one is right side up :-) The picture ornament is Alex's First Christmas ornament. The Victorian Lady is one of my personal favorites since I love the Victorian era!

Mac (who is 3) picked out the penguin ornament this year. He found it at Kohl's and carried it (very gently for him!) through the whole store insisting it was "Boo-boo Mac's ornament". Boo-Boo Mac is his version of his nickname (Bug-A-Boo) :-) So we brought the ornament home :-)

And what tree would be complete without a village. We had a tree skirt but took it off so we could set up the train under the tree (it didn't run well with the skirt in the way). Then Alex (almost 5) set up her little houses to make a village but instead of people she populated the town with horses (or course) :-)

Doesn't everyone have a town full of horses under their Christmas tree :-)
Happy New Year!!
