Photo Essay: Teddy Bear Tea

Every year I take Alex to a Teddy Bear tea. This year she went with one of her good friends as well as her cousin.

Here is Alex and her best friend posing in front of one of the many Christmas trees at the hotel where the Tea is hosted.

 This is Alex and her cousin -- she adores her cousin and was so happy that she came even though she is getting to be a "big girl" and may not be as interested in teddy bear teas as she once was :-)

 They have all sorts of activities during the tea including singing, dancing with a ballerina from the Nutcracker, decorating cookies and listening to a holiday story.

 They had this really neat kitchen made entirely out of gingerbread too!

 Here's another picture of the gingerbread kitchen -- the sign listed how much of each ingredient (like eggs and flours) was needed to create it -- it was a lot!

This is a closeup of one of the cakes made out of gingerbread that decorated the "kitchen".

 And, finally, the traditional photo on the steps after the teddy bear tea was over (until next year :-)
