you know it will be a bad day when.....

- You wake up face down on the pavement.

- You jump out of bed in the morning and miss the floor.

- You turn on the morning news, and they're showing emergency routes out of your city.

- Your bar of Ivory soap sinks.

- You put both contact lenses in the same eye.

- The bird singing outside your window is a vulture.

- Your horn gets stuck when you're following a group of Hell's Angels on the freeway.

- You get to work and there's a 60 Minutes news team waiting in your outer office.

-  You lock the door on the car with the keys sitting in your purse on the seat.

-  you run around trying to get ready to go to work and it is already 1 hr after your start time only to find out today is saturday and your off.

-  You're driving down the road and everything is blurry.  (you forgot your glasses)

Too funny, too true. The consolation with the second to last one is that you can always go back to bed!!!! ;-) I actually have put both contacts in the same eye, which wouldn't have been so bad, but I spent 20 minutes which I didn't have, looking for the one I "lost." Explain that to your boss: "Oh, uh, sorry I'm late. I stuck both contacts in the same eye." He says, "Didn't you realize that you couldn't see out of EITHER of your eyes?" "No, I was too busy screaming for my kids to put their shoes on and looking in my bra for the contact lens I thought I lost."

Funny. I've never put both contacts in the same eye but I did spend 20 minutes trying to get my contact out of my eye only to finally realize it wasn't in my eye.
