The Spinster Years Begin

I've needed a break from trying to figure out how to save the world's entire body of knowledge. As well as trying to figure out and put down on paper how my mind works and why. I've got the how down, the why part is fuzzy. Does that matter? Probably not, but as we have established Samantha is rarely satisfied with that answer.

I also am supposed to be writing papers for my Parapsychology class. One is thoroughly outlined and should be a snap to write, the other is sort of in free form floating in my brain. It'll all work out, always does. I'm so not stressed about it.

I am a little unnerved about my upcoming birthday. 38. Almost middle aged. Single. Barren. Relying on my mother for money and med management. Why is this one bothering me so much? 37 didn't, but I was so out of it I don't think I took it in. 36 was a blast, but I still had friends and was still a little healthy holding on by my then, well manicured fingernails.

But, the 20th will come and I will be one year older. I'm learning to be content with my lot in life. I'm moving forward, I have options. But options that take work. I'm ready to do that work which I haven't been for quite a few years. Yay me!
