Has anyone here even been to the tulip festival in Michigan? or maybe one at a different location. I was thinking of going and wondering what it was like.
We try to go every year, it is May 3 to the 10 this year. I guess we are going.. One year some one drove down the streets the tour is on, took something and chopped the tulips down, it was awful. Rotten people like that in the world...Thanks for sharing.
I love the tulip festival in Holland, Michigan. I think the big parade is at the end of the festival. There is also a Dutch theme park there and some great gift shops, shops where you can watch them make wooden shoes, and shops that sell delftware. There is an outlet mall in a Dutch theme with a big pond with a bridge over it and shops with a canal. Some nice fudge and candy shops. There is also a great state park on Lake Michigan with a red lighthouse and pretty beach. Bring your camera because there is a lot to take pictures of. Also, bring a map of the Holland area so you don't get lost!
This makes me sad, we had a tulip festival that i was really looking forward to...and then we went andthe tulips weren't out and then it was so cold and snowy that they all died....and i didn't get to see the tulips that i was so looking forward to! :(
