7-up salad

Description
Gelatin salad with pineapple and pecans.

Ingredients
1 cup water
1 small pack marshmellows
1 box lime gelatin
1/8 oz cream cheese
1 cup crushed pineapple
1/2 cupchopped pecans
1 8 oz can 7UP

Directions
Bring water and marshmallows to a boil; when melted add lime gelatin. When dissolved stir in cream cheese with mixer; add pineapple and pecans/fold it into mixture. Add 7-UP a little at a time, slowly, to prevent fizzing over. Put in fridge over night; serve with meal or dessert

 

this is such a nice light dessert.

I read the Beer Bread recipe first and like the sound of it so much, I have gone back to this one. It may tempt my finicky appetite or be nice to share at eating events where I have to bring something. It also sounds good and easy.

Also is that suppose to be 1 - 8oz package of cream cheese or 1/8 of the package? Call me a ditz its all good. :)
