** MEMORIES ** RUNAWAY CHILD

I was thinking back to my childhood and had a quick memory flash through my mind and it made me laugh.

WHEN YOU WERE A CHILD, DID YOU EVER RUN AWAY FROM HOME ?

I did.....I got mad at mom because she wouldn't play dolls with me so I said "I am leaving home and running away and never coming back"

I packed my barbie case with 2 dolls and some clothes for them, I then went to the cellar to the pantry and grabbed a can of Campbells chicken noodle soup and a can of baked beans and left....I ran away....

I went to the side of the house and sat there and played with my dolls and talked to myself about how I was a runaway and how would I survive in the world.  I then remembered that I can't open the cans....OOPS....I watched for my mom and snuck around outside and when I saw her go to the basement to do the laundry, I snuck inside the kitchen and grabbed the bottle opener (the kind that makes a pointy cut)and left again.  I went back outside and used the bottle opener and made a couple "v" cuts on the can and ate my soup.

I think I eventually got bored after about an hour "on the run".

i went back inside and told mom that I loved her and that it was a rough world out there and could I move back  home....LOL

I think I was about 5.
