I was about 10 rows from the top of the stadium but I didn't care because it was FANTASTIC!!!!!
they had a huge disco ball come from the floor when they played Comfortably numb...
They had just released "Division Bell" cd about amonth before their concert. I went out to buy it so that I knew the songs before the concert....
This concert was in Pittsburgh, PA and two days before my wedding. Two of the groomsmen bought us tickets from a scalper.
This concert was amazing as well.
The Ohio State University Stadium aka the Horseshoe; Pink Floyd. Sheer Magic
NY Palladium, October 1976
4 1/2 hours
Nassau Colleseum, 1980
They actually built a 40 ft high wall on stage during the show, and tore it down at the end of the show.
The Who - Dec. 1982 (Cleveland OH) & Sept. 1989 (Dallas, TX with the Fabulous T-Birds & SRV)
Dire Straits - Summer 1985 (Dallas, TX)
Joe Walsh - Aug 1983 (Cleveland, OH)
Pink Floyd - Nov 1987 (Dallas, TX)
Stevie Ray Vaughan - July 1985 (Dallas, TX)
Skillet (with Pillar & Justifide) - Oct 2001 (Dallas, TX)
I'm sure there were many others but those are the ones I remember best...
just kidding! That was probably my first.
We just had a christian concert called "Music Builds" last week featureing Switchfoot, Third Day and a couple others. Allman Brothers are coming, this week is Brad Paisley and next week is maroon 5.
I Love to watch Rascal flatts on stage as well.
Kenney Chesney
Trace Adkins (YUM)
Kid Rock
Journey
Most other concerts I've been to have been in massive concert halls or stadiums with the loss of sound and sight.
