3000 points - the big 3 0 0 0 !! Help - Question

Ok, I have NEVER made the 3000 points in a month but this month since I bought a high speed computer and moving online faster than lightening...I thought I would give it a try.

OK, I need some good tips on HOW to get to 3000.

and

Once you get to 3000, do you have to do 3000 each and every month for the cash or is it just the first qualifying time??

I think I may still be confused on how the 3000 works.

Post lots of content & comment like crazy, but remember, none of the points you earn during the promotion starting tomorrow count towards the month goal for cash option.

I'm trying to figure this whole cash-option thing out too, so thanks for posting this question and thanks for all the answers!! I'm hoping to cross over into cash-option land sometime this summer since I'll more time to post, post, and comment, comment. Good luck!

Wish I could help ya, but I haven't made it there myself ever. Haha. I wasn't going to go for it, but the more I hear people talk about it, the more I'm wanting to try for it myself.

Actually one third of the points earned during the triple points week does count. So if you earn 300 during the week, 100 will count towards the cash option.

There are a couple of groups to join too, with the goal of getting the 3000 (actually should be 3125) so make sure you get over that amount. They will focus everyone on one person for a day and that really helps.

Good luck. I reached that goal in April, got my letter on May 21st and now am on cash option. If I can do it, anyone can.

The way I hit the cash option was to write entertaining and interesting articles once or twice a day...and comment on other's posts. I was a first time writer in February, 2007 having never written before in my life. I started out with just one connection; my best friend, who encouraged me to give it a try. Within my first 28 days, I had earned enough points to switch over to the cash option...and have been making money ever since. Give the people what they want...and they will come to check out what you've published.

You need to get at least 3125 points to qualify for cash pay out. Once achieve you fax papers back and with ina couple days your account will be switched to cash.

Keep a copy of when you started with points. So, you know if you made it or not.

There will be a points promotion going on. So, I would not count any of those points that week. I have heard none during the promotion will work to a 1/3 will. best bet is to not even count them. But trust me. You still can obtain your cash goal if you don't post for a week.

Next do what you have been doing but more of it.

Make sure you watch videos, rate any content you check out : articles, photos, and more.

Click on a friend who has alot of content and start checking there stuff out.

Basically, what everyone else has said. Once you get the cash option, you don't have to do 3,000 points every month. But doing so will ensure that you're earning around $50/month from Gather.

I think I hit it last month -- it'll be another 16 days before I find out. But it took me every single day of spending at least like 6 hours on Gather, non-stop.

I never thought I could make the cash option working full time but I was able to earn the points needed in March and received the email the third week of April. My points were converted to cash the same day.

Me being the spreadsheet nerd I am set up a spreadsheet and forecasted out how many points I would need each day to earn it. I tracked my actual points earnings daily.

You got most of the answers you needed. It IS 3000 in one month for cash. (3125 is for gift cards, taking as much time as it takes.) I have that in an email from support when I was asking, and Kevin has popped in to discussions like this and confirmed.

When I got my new(er) faster computer, I got the cash option the following month. I watched lots of videos and looked at lots of pictures. Commented a bunch. Wrote a bunch. And the numbers surprised me.

Some of my connections I know make around 100 and 200 points a day. I don't know how they do it, but I know I'm goign to try for about 200 starting tomorrow with triple points going.

I would like to try but my time is limited and I know i probably wouldn't have time. Question though if you are cash option and you don't make it, what happens to what you have accumulated for that month?
