I ordered my three visor clips

I spend a little time on BT, but not that much...I get bored too quickly...I always come back to GAther.

I love boomertowne. The points are easy to get, and the prizes come fast. Now that I'm a gold member, I can make about $100 each month. My husband is a member, too, and he will be gold later this week. The extra $200 each month pays for most of our gas.

I like Boomertowne because of the awards but I love Gather because Gather is SO SO SO much more entertaining. But I earn more at BT then I do Gather. From BT so far I've gotten one Target Card, am expecting a $50 visa and another $25 Target card plus I'm more then halfway to another Target card although I think I'll save for another Visa.

I like BT. It only takes me 20-30 minutes to get my points, and the same for my hubby to get his points. It is boring, but it's worth it to me because the points add up quickly and as a Stay at Home Mom, we can use that extra income to pay for things we need.

I love BT. It doesn't take me long to get my 1500 points. I'm able to hop over there and get GC's and by the time I return to Gather, there is new material to read.

I am a bit perplexed by the whole BT phenomenon... I have looked at it and read posts about it and it is so complicated... I am amazed that folks do it everyday for so little reward...

So I wrote an article about would you do this for $50 a month and described some activities and made it sound like work... not fun... just tasks to do.... post this... click so many links, write so many comments... spend 20 or 30 minutes a day, and I tried to estimate how many it would take to make that much money... well.. I did not estimate correctly because I then did the activities and have made over $100 so far this month, but... it did not matter because no one was interested.... a few people commented about it being too much work.... a couple of folks said they were interested... so I emailed them to see if they really were and not one of them even answered the email.... but people do BT ...... for gift cards... I guess because it is fun.... instead of doing less, spending less time and making cold cash.... and calling it work....

One must never underestimate the allure of getting something for nothing..... or of getting paid to play.

I love BT and it doesn't take long to get the points and I usually play netwinner while I'm at it.

I dunno, isn't Boomertowne supposed to be for older folks? I checked out their About Us page, and it said:

Even if it was fun, which most people seem to think it's not, I don't think I'd feel comfortable participating in a community that wasn't meant for me.

I do alot of sites and just started BT. I found that its like going in circles and drives me nuts. It dont take me to long to get my points, but it giver me a killer headache. I have been there for 5 days now and everytime I have gone there I leave it with one. Hopefully I will figure it out and it take a little less time, but if not I might stop. Im still trying it out and seeing if its for me.
Other then that I have been not doing many of my other sites, because I spend my time here. I really should work on some of them, at least to the point where I can cash out. Im just about there on most of them or passed it, just dont bother with it. Might as well let it build right?
Plus its a good way to save some money so I can buy some things I want to go with my new camera. Money my hubby dont know about. *LOL*

I love Gather more too, but I try to do a couple hours a day at BT....it's not too hard to make their point goals, but it doesn't seem to be as profitable to my mind and soul, like Gather has done for me...did I say I love gather???

It's one of the reasons why I haven't really gone there. I work on surveys when I'm not on Gather and that takes up a chunk of my day (or night-whenever!).

I visit other sites from time to time, but right now my concentration is on gather.

I stick to Gather, even more than my emails.

I love boomertowne. I just play the games so far, but I'm racking up points fast. I only spend about 30 minutes on there. I spend more time on here, but I love them both.

Looked at BT for a minute but haven't tried it yet.

These sites weren't meant to be a free for all of getting something for nothing. They are rewarding you for using the site. I don't think they anticipated that people would just click for points instead of actually using and enjoying the site. I dont attempt to make 1500 points a day anymore. I play the games for fun. I chat for fun. I read some topics for fun- not to get free money. The points are just a bonus!

I've always been spread thin but BT is/was cool. They said they are going to return my points to me since I never received my colt vacuum bottle,and it is no longer available but they still haven't done so.

I wasn't real thrilled with it, so I quit playing.

It is just a matter of priorities. I do other sites besides BT and Gather, so I can make sure that my time is used wisely.

I do not think I am. I don't always earn my points at BT because I like Gather better. But I like the rewards more at BT.

I am with you. I have been spreading myself too thin lately and Boomertowne just doesn't do it for me, if you know what I mean:)

I'm getting there. I joined webridestv.com which I've heard is something like boomertowne (although I haven't been on boomertowne), but I'm just trying to get some more gift cards.
