navigating on gather

I wonder if I am the only one who has this problem. When looking at the photos posted on gather, I wil click on the next button and wait for gather to respond. About 10 percent of the time the next page will appear minus the posted content. It will have the gather logo and the adds, but photo section is completely blank. At time I have left the room and returned several minutes later and still no photos. I either have to hit the refresh button and if that doesn't work, go back to the previous page and hit he next button again.

I know that my internet connection is not the greatest since I live in a rural area, but I have had this problem on two different computers and only on gather. Other internet sites will appear when clicked.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Yes, this has happened to me also, click refresh.

I understand your frustration, Steve, as I've been having a LOT of problems lately ~ posting, viewing, and commenting. I get error messages telling me I'm not signed in or that I'm not recognized. I've tried refreshing, rebooting, shutting down and starting all over. My back button hasn't been working either. It's very frustrating to say the least! I won't ever be able to catch up with commenting at this rate... :(

Yes, I've had this problem, too. Are you using a wireless connection? I've had more problem with those, which are slower, than with wired connections. Still, as you say, this doesn't happen at any other sites (like Flickr, where I also upload photos, etc.).
