I got a bike today

Today I got my own new bike. Everyone in my family had a bike except me. This last weekend it was really nice and they all went for a bike ride while I sat at home:( Today my husband asked me if I wanted to go get one, and I of course said yes.  We ended up getting it at Walmart. Its a cute pink and silver bike, lol. I'm usually not a "pink" kind of person. I also got a helmet and a thingy to hold a water bottle, oh and a seat cover with gel in it. When we got home we went for a ride. OMG I'm getting old, lol. I so dont remember riding a bike being that hard, but it was fun. Its kinda hard to keep up a good pace when you have your 4 year old on his bike, so I do look forward to the times when grandma can watch the kids and me and my husband can go by ourselves.

 

So do you own a bike? Are you excited for Spring/Summer so you can ride again?

I have a bike that I ride regularly. But, I remember a time where I had gotten a bike after not owning one for at least a decade. It was sure hard at first, but now I can ride just about anywhere. It was mostly getting used to the seat. On that one bike I got, I got one of those springy exerise bike seats and it really helped, though it added more weight to the bike.

I haven't been on a bike for years because of my breathing issues. I must admit I've been wondering if I could ride one now.

Next month we will be looking at getting my husband a bike to ride back and forth to work. It would be great fun if I could ride with him.

Yes, I have one and so does my husband. We haven't ridden in a few years, but just reading this article makes me want to try again. Good luck on getting used to it again. I know you will.

I can't ride again yet but I do plan to have one, some day...My husband had one but had to sell it for a food a few years back...My daughter doesn't have great balance so when she outgrew her old one, we just didn't replace it :P Will stick to the walking track for now...Enjoy your new bike!

I do own a bike. My husband and I bought them for each other at Christmas a fe years back. I think it's hanging in the garage now. It's about the time of year that I'll have to get it out and dust it off.
