Take A Walk With Me - Photo Essay

One of our favorite pasttimes is going for a walk. We get to enjoy nature, spend quality time together, and get some exercise in the process. These are some pictures from one of the paths that we like to walk on.

This is a hill on one side of the path. It looks pretty now, but it is even more beautiful in the Fall when all the leaves are changing color.

This is a pretty purple flower that was growing on a tree along the path.

We stepped off the path onto a grassy trail to explore a little, and I almost stepped on this lone purple flower.

This is a closer view of the flower. Isn't it pretty? After the pictures were taken, I was care to step around it instead of on it. :-)

This is a path that calls to me every time we walk by it. Unfortunately, it isn't stroller-friendly, so we have never taken it. Maybe some day . . .

This is another pretty flower I saw growing on a tree. Can you tell that I like purple flowers?

This is a close-up of some interesting looking flowers we saw.

We were not the only ones checking out the scenery. This Cardinal was watching us from a tree next to the path. He watched us the entire time we were in view.
