On yesterday's Help article, Miz Lynn aka/BooBoo asked: " I don't use the My Gather page to see what my connections are up to, but rather rely completely on Gather email notifications. As of last evening my email notifications aren't working. I've tested to make sure it wasn't my provider/email..its not, its Gather. Thanks."
You're not alone, Lynn. A few other members were reporting this as well. After investigating this, we found that emails from Gather had been "black-listed" by a few domains that take their cues from one particular "composite blocking list," a non-profit organization that helps ISP's and email services prevent spam. Gather was probably blocked because enough people in recent days flagged Gather notifications as "spam" in their inboxes. These people are technically Gather members who are signed up to receive such notifications, but they are probably not active and do not know how to turn off these notifications - that is why they they opt for the convenient "spam" button.
Hey, it happens. The good news is that we have contacted this organization and have now been removed from their blacklist. So members who have been affected by this black list over the past 24 hours should now be receiving their Gather notifications, or at least should be seeing improvement as the day goes on.
We also expect that instances of this sort of "blacklisting" will diminish in the future because of a few changes to the site made over the past months. First, all new members select what types of email notifications they wish to receive as a part of their initial registration process. Also, members now select which activities they want to be notified about concerning specific friends right at the point when they connect with those friends. Basically, members are only receiving the notifications they sign up for, whereas in the past new members were automatically signed up to receive several types of email notifications upon registration.

I am getting less email in my Gather email box for which I am grateful.
I went to spotlight an old article and can't pull it up on my activities. Only two articles show up. Is something wrong with my site? Thank you.
