It matters to me, that you still give a damn

It matters to me, that you continue to try

It matters to me, that you remember who I am

It matters to me, when you're caught in the rain

It matters to me, I hate to see you blue

It matters to me, when you're feeling the pain

It matters to me - does it matter to you?

The pelicans, sweetheart, they're buddies. That's the title of the photograph.

Gaedith, I suspect that you are the jewel in Robert's crown, the honey to his peanut butter, the pot of gold at the end of his rainbow, the rainbow of promise at the end of a long rain, his touchdown and his point after, his shelter from the storm.

He will always share a part of that big heart with the rest of us, but I'm betting from here on in the lion's share is yours.

Going back to Rory's first comment; he knows I've written of rainbows, he knows football is my priority (present company excluded) and he knows Dylan is my all-time favorite poet. I just noticed that's how he did it. He worked all of my passions into compliments for my lady. I'm on to him...............................

(so that's how you tell someone 'I Love You' okay Gaedith, 'I Love You', more than rainbows, football and Dylan)
